Organizations
Community organizations, nonprofits, and other useful local
resources may also be appropriate for the directory.

A complete, accurate listing is more useful to residents

Use public information
Provide information intended for public use, such as the business
website, public phone number, address, service area, and hours.
Avoid duplicate listings
Search the directory before submitting. If the business already
exists, do not create a second listing.
Describe it clearly
Use a short factual description that helps residents understand
what the business or organization provides.
Choose the right category
Select the category that best describes the listing so residents
can find it more easily.
Use an appropriate image
If a logo or image is included, use one that accurately represents
the business or organization and that you are permitted to provide.
Expect review
Submission does not automatically place a business in the public
directory. Listings are reviewed before publication.
For business owners
Already listed?
If your business already appears in the directory,
use the existing listing rather than creating a duplicate.
Manage an approved listing
Approved users can manage business listings assigned
to their Niles Connect account.
Claim an existing business
If your business is already listed but you do not manage it,
use the ownership or management process associated with
the existing listing.
Share an offer
Business listings and local offers are separate.
Use the community submission tools when you want to
share an approved promotion or announcement.
