Core expectations

Participation must support constructive local connection.

  • Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or demean others.
  • Be truthful. Do not knowingly publish false claims, impersonate others, or fabricate emergencies.
  • Protect privacy. Do not publish private addresses, contact details, identifying documents, or sensitive personal information without permission.
  • Stay relevant. Avoid spam, repetitive promotion, manipulation, and unrelated solicitation.
  • Follow the law. Illegal activity, exploitation, threats, and unlawful content are prohibited.
  • Use appropriate channels. Niles Connect is not an emergency service.

Community Guidelines

Be respectful, truthful, and safe. This community is for adults age 18 and older. Harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, sexual exploitation, spam, and illegal activity are prohibited. Meet in public places and report concerning behavior.

Enforcement

Administrators may limit visibility, require edits, remove content, restrict accounts, preserve moderation records, or contact appropriate services when reasonably necessary.

Moderation decisions may consider context, severity, history, safety, privacy, accuracy, and platform integrity.
